How to turn off the "Please Clean Filter" message

Using your remote control, Choose the Menu button to bring the onscreen menu up.

select Projector Options,

then Setup

There are 5 tables at the top labeled Pages 1 -5

Go over to Page 4

Arrow down to the button that says "Clear Lamp Hour Meter"

it will ask are you sure. Select Yes

Using your remote control, Choose the Menu button to bring the onscreen menu up. 

 

select Default,

Arrow over to the button that says "Clear Filter Usage"

it will ask are you sure. Select Yes

Using your remote control, Choose the Menu button to bring the onscreen menu up. 

 

select Default,

Arrow down to the to the selection "Reset"

 

In the Tab "Usage Time" use the arrow keys on you rremote to select "Filter Hours Used"

 

When you hit enter ask "Aere you sure?" Select Yes

 

Select the Menu button to leave the menu.

Most Importantly!!! Only do this when the projector is off!!

The filter is on the same side as the lens, right next to it around the side of the projector

There is a thumb catch on the top. Just pull it out toward you - it just clicks out and clicks back in.

Gently blow or rub off the accrued dust.

There is a thumb catch on the top. Just lift it straight up - it slides out of a slot. To put it back, slide it back in and click it into place.

There are two filters that are loczted on the side of the projector where the menu buttons are.
